The Farmington Hills Nature Center highlights interpretive exhibits reflecting our natural world such as a life-sized animal habitat, a backyard habitat bird viewing area, native fish aquariums, a nature library and activity table as well as a hands-on touch table and Discovery Cove.

Nature programs are offered year-round and change seasonally. Our nature interpretive staff is more than willing to field any questions you may have. Located at 24915 Farmington Rd., Farmington Hills, 48336 in beautiful Heritage Park, adjacent to the Day Camp building.

Wellness Walk and Talk
A FREE health inspired program with Beaumont Health. Health care professionals provide brief indoor presentations on topics of interest, then answer questions and engage in informal conversation with attendees on a 30 minute "wellness walk" through the Heritage Park trails.No need to register, just show up!

The Farmington Hills Nature Center is excited to offer "STEM in Nature" experiences, with support from the Bosch Community Fund. Nature is a compelling context, as it provides a diverse range of real world challenges that engage kids in hands-on opportunities to apply and reinforce STEM skills.

Homeschool Nature Program

Enrich your child’s knowledge and connection with the natural world. A naturalist will lead hands-on, memorable experiences outdoors with a different nature theme and STEM activities each week.
