The Farmington Hills Police Department is a full-service law
enforcement agency that provides routine, emergency and
investigative police services. In fulfilling this mission,
Police Chief Chuck Nebus has embraced a community policing
philosophy, which has proven very successful in addressing crime
and its causes, and quality of life issues. Community policing
involves forming partnerships between the police department and
the residents and businesses. This alliance identifies problems,
issues and needs, then formulates and implements courses of
action to address them.
