Parks and Recreation

Kids playing ball at a park.By authority of the City Council in 1985, the Parks and Recreation Department evolved into the Special Services Department.  The department consists of eight divisions including Administration, Senior Adults, Youth and Families, Recreation, Cultural Arts, Parks & Golf, Activities Center and the Ice Arena.
