2015 SUMMER TAX BILLS
The City of Farmington Hills 2015 Summer Tax
Bills will be mailed on or about July 1. They are
payable from July 1, 2015 through August 31, 2015
without penalty. Payment must be received by August 31,
postmarks are not accepted. A 4% penalty will be added
starting September 1st along with 1/2% interest per
month. If you do not receive your tax bill by July 15th,
please contact the Treasurer's office at 248-871-2480
By law, failure to receive a tax bill does not waive tax
or penalty. Tax bills are not forwarded by the Post
Office, unless it is a temporary forwarding order only.
The Treasurer's Office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except for July 3rd to

Summer Property Taxes
Summer property taxes
are mailed on or about July 1 of each
year. Payment may be made without penalty and interest from July
1 through August 31. After
August 31 a four per cent (4%) penalty and a one-half per cent
(1/2%) interest charge is added. Delinquent summer property
taxes may be paid at the Treasury office until February 28. When
the due date falls on a Saturday, a Sunday, or a holiday
recognized by the City, we consider your return to be filed on
time if we receive it on the City's next regular business
Winter Property Taxes
Winter property taxes
are mailed on or about December 1 of
each year. Payment may be made without penalty and interest from
December 1 through February 14. After February 14 four per cent (4%) is added.
Delinquent winter property taxes may be paid at the Treasury
office until February 28. When the due date falls on a Saturday,
a Sunday, or a holiday recognized by the City, we consider your
return to be filed on time if we receive it
on the City's next regular business day.
From March 1 through March 31 delinquent
property taxes should be remitted to Oakland County Treasurer,
1200 N. Telegraph, Pontiac MI 48341 after obtaining a revised
statement from the City of Farmington Hills Treasury Division.
After March 31, payments may be sent to Oakland County without a
