Along with a free summer concert series, the
Cultural Arts Division brings a variety of high-quality,
professional performances into our City during the fall, winter
and spring. By means of a special partnership, concerts are held
at the charming and acoustically perfect setting of the
Farmington Players Barn Theater, located at 32332 Twelve Mile
Road. Performances and events have included such groups as the
Michigan Opera Theatre, MSU Professors of Jazz, the Chenille
Sisters, and Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding, to name a few.

Jill Jack in Concert Saturday, September 25, 7:30 PM
Farmington Players Barn Theatre 32322 12 Mile Road
Performing for the first time at the Players Barn Theatre,
award-winning singer/songwriter Jill Jack will thrill you with
a voice that critics say, "soars like the opera and smokes
like the blues!" Jill Jack has been a commanding presence on
the Michigan music scene for years, and is a many-time winner
at the Detroit Music Awards, including 2010 Outstanding
Acoustic Artist, Outstanding Acoustic/Folk Vocalist, and
Outstanding Folk Recording. Jack's unique style includes
elements of jazz, folk and blues, with a touch of rock.

Back by popular demand, for 2
performances, with all new selections! “One of America’s
Finest and Funniest Acts”, Three Men and a Tenor are not only
superbly talented vocalists, they are hilarious! The group is
known for its Emmy-Award winning PBS special, and has shared
the stage with numerous American legends, such as Chuck Berry,
Dionne Warwick, Bob Newhart, and The Beach Boys, and are also
known for their Emmy-Award winning PBS special. You will
relax, laugh, and simply enjoy their fabulous voices as they
take you on a roller coaster of fun and emotion, with many new
songs and old favorites that go "in one era and out another".

You've heard their amazing voices perform songs from
Broadway and beyond; now enjoy the spectacular voices of the
MOT soloists in a new, fun-filled variety holiday show! Ring
in the season with this festive and hilarious evening of
holiday music, song & dance...including appearances by
(impersonator) "Erma Bombeck" and Santa Claus, straight from
the North Pole. Other special guests will be featured, as well
as audience sing-alongs. This talented group, coupled with the
wonderful acoustics of the Farmington Players Barn Theatre and
a ton of hilarious and dramatic high jinks, will make this a
night not to be missed by anyone who loves great vocal

Rock, Soul & Suds - Beer Tasting Party! Friday,
February 4, 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM Historic Longacre House
It's time for a mid-winter night out -
groove to the great music of Rock and Soul, as you enjoy
tasting a wide range of flavors - over 40 beers - provided by
the knowledgeable staff from Meadows Fine Wine & Liquor. Plus,
Meadows will provide a "hard to find" table of unique styles
of beer, available at their store on Farmington Road. Rock and
Soul is a high-energy, powerful duo with an amazing
repertoire. Co-leader Bruce Pooley has performed all over the
world with such well-known singers as Jerry Lee Lewis and the
Irish Rovers. Teresa Marbury, the other half of Rock and Soul,
has sung at the best private clubs and biggest venues in the
area, from Detroit’s annual International Auto Show to the
Super Bowl, and is considered one of the finest female
vocalists in Michigan. These two amazing singers know just
about any song from any era - and provide the perfect music
for dancing or just plain listening. Tickets are only $20 in

Farmington Players Barn TheaterBlackthorn is so
popular, we expanded this concert to three nights, years ago!
Not only are these guys superbly talented vocalists and
musicians, Blackthorn will touch you with their humor,
camaraderie, and their own special blend of tight harmony and
skilled musicianship. With a variety of instruments and a
widely varying repertoire, a Blackthorn concert is an evening
filled with fun, sweet ballads, lively bar songs, and simply
the best of everything Irish! Come prepared to have a great
time, and go away with a smile, whether you're Irish or not!
