The City Clerk's Office maintains all City Codes, Ordinances,
Resolutions and other legal documents. In addition, the Clerk's
Office processes and distributes birth and death records and
handles the formal processing of new subdivision plats, business
license registrations, voter registration, passports, easements
and agreements, street/alley vacations and is responsible for all
recorded documents with the Oakland County Register of Deeds. The
City Clerk functions as Secretary to the City Council and Building
Authority and provides recording secretarial services to the
Planning Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Economic Development
Corporation, Parks & Recreation Commission, Historical Commission
and various Ad-Hoc Commissions and Committees.
