Crime Prevention Team Hosts Presentation on Tax Scams Feb. 22 at Costick Center

On Thursday, February 22 at 11 a.m., the Farmington Hills Police Department’s Crime Prevention Section will host a presentation about Tax Scams at the Costick Center, located at 28600 Eleven Mile Road between Middlebelt and Inkster Roads.
At the meeting, the Crime Prevention Team will provide information that will help you safeguard your assets. Every year in the United States, thousands of people fall victim to tax scams and lose millions of dollars. Scammers use the telephone, email, and regular mail to deceive citizens and scam them into divulging personal information. Don’t be a victim! Learn how to recognize scammers and protect your identity and your money.
The meeting is open to all residents. Pre-registration is required either in person at the Costick Center or by calling 248-473-1830.
