FishingKids Fishing Day
The Farmington / Farmington Hills and Southfield Optimist Clubs are sponsoring the Sixth Annual Kids Fishing Day on Saturday, July 26 at the Carpenter Lake Nature Preserve on Ten Mile Road east of Inkster. The Kids Fishing Day offers children ages 4 to 11 and their parents the opportunity to learn proper techniques and practice casting, while they try their hands at catch and release fishing. Bernadette Marcos Exhibition Sculptures by Bernadette Marcos at Farmington Hills City Gallery June 7 – July 19

Four News Police OfficersFour New Police Officers Hired
The Farmington Hills Police Department recently hired four new police officers who were sworn in by City Clerk Pam Smith and began their duties on June 23. New police officers Phillip Andrews, Kevin Clark, Dwayne Robinson, and Ryan Rosenick were officially recognized at a ceremony held at Police Headquarters on June 27.  New Police Officers Press Release
Lawn SprinklersVoluntary Watering Use Restrictions for Farmington Hills Residents
The City is asking all property owners with automated sprinkler systems (except those contacted directly by the Water Resources Commissioner’s Office with instructions specific to their area only) to follow Voluntary Water Use Restrictions in an effort to control future water rate increases. Road Construction SignRoad Construction Projects as of June 26, 2014
